Method
Every finding starts with a primary data source: government statistics agencies (INEGI, Banxico, CONEVAL), sector bodies (AMIA, IRENA, Ember) or open transit and mobility data. Numbers are pulled, checked against the publishing institution's own figures, and only then turned into a chart or a sentence.
Sourcing standard
Every chart and every claim carries a source line naming the institution, the dataset, and the period covered. "Various" or "internal analysis" is never treated as a source on its own. Where a figure has passed through an intermediary processor, both the original data owner and the processor are named.
Editorial boundary
Mexidato explains what the data shows and flags what it can't tell you. It does not carry a policy position, and language that would overclaim certainty, "proves," "clearly," "obviously," is avoided in favor of "suggests" and "appears to." If a story has a political dimension, the numbers are presented and the interpretation is left to the reader.
